The Construction Institute has the advantage of being a part of the rich academic environment of the University of Hartford. The Institute works with The College of Engineering, Technology and Architecture (CETA) to create meaningful opportunities for students to learn from the Institute's members, through internships, lectures, and career preparation activities. The academic resources of the University are an important contribution to the development of the Institutes programs, workshops, and its virtual knowledge bank. In addition to its work with CETA, the Institute collaborates with the Barney School of Business and the Entrepreneurial Center.
